Posting Mothers' Day cards to help with grief

A crematorium group is inviting people who have lost their mothers to post Mother's Day cards in its memorial post boxes across the west of England.
Westerleigh Group has sites in South Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Sedgemoor, the Forest of Dean, and others around the UK.
"It's also a time for people to come and sit and reflect and remember their mothers," explained Lucy Derrick, assistant manager of West Wiltshire Crematorium.
The site's white Letters to Heaven post box is intended to help people deal with their grief.

Ben Edward, manager at West Wiltshire Crematorium, near Trowbridge, said: "When it comes to occasions like Mothers' Day, I think we need to look at things and make it a more special occasion.
"We'll have cards in envelopes in the remembrance chapel here, in case anyone wishes to write one and put it in the letter box on the day."
Remembrance chapels and gardens at the Westerleigh Group crematoriums are set to be open to everyone on Mothers' Day, on Sunday. At West Wiltshire Crematorium, there is set to be free light refreshments and single-stem flowers available in the morning.
Anyone is welcome, regardless of where the funeral service of their loved one was held, explained Lucy Derrick: "We hope we can help all families wishing to remember a mother, grandmother or significant woman in their lives."
