Murder arrest after woman stabbed at tower block

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman was stabbed in a tower block.
Merseyside Police said the woman, aged in her 30s, was found badly injured at Knowsley Heights in Huyton at about 22:30 BST on Tuesday following a 999 call.
She was given treatment by officers and paramedics but later died in hospital.
A 34-year-old man from Litherland was held and remains in police custody.
Police said they were not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident but appealed for anyone with information to come forward.
Det Ch Insp Ben Dyer said the investigation was "in the very early stages as we seek to establish exactly what has happened".
He added: "Patrols have been stepped up in the area to provide reassurance for the community and officers continue to make CCTV and witness enquiries.
"If you live in the area and saw or heard anything suspicious last night, please get in touch as a matter of urgency."
