Man charged after rape of teenage girl in Edinburgh

A 20-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the rape of a teenage girl in Edinburgh.
The 15-year-old girl was attacked in a basement storage area on York Place in the city centre after being led there by a masked man from a bus stop on Princes Street.
Police Scotland later described the incident, which took place at about 05:00 last Sunday, as "frightening" and said the girl was being supported by specialist officers.
The arrested man is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court later.
