Ewe 'killed in attack by two dogs loose in field'

Two dogs are alleged to have attacked and killed a sheep while loose in a field.
Police said they believe a farmer has confirmed on social media that the ewe was pregnant, and that her unborn lambs had died in the incident.
Wiltshire Police said they received "several reports" of an attack on farmland adjacent to the A303 at Chicklade Bottom, Fonthill Bishop, on Friday.
Officers arrived just after 10:38 GMT and located dog owners 50m (164ft) from a dead ewe. No one has been arrested and police continue to investigate.
Police are urging dog owners to be responsible and keep their pets on a lead "at all times" while near animals during lambing season.
