A man has been seriously injured after a collision between a motorcycle and van in Cornwall.

Devon and Cornwall Police said officers were called to Launceston Road in Bodmin at about 14:10 GMT on Wednesday.

The force said the motorcycle rider suffered serious injuries which were not thought to be life-threatening.

It said local road closures were in place.
