Car crashes into shop and damages front window

A car crashed into a high street shop in Derbyshire, damaging the front of the building.
Police were called to the Boots branch on High Street in Long Eaton on Friday in the early evening.
The black car could be seen wedged into the front of the shop after the crash, with the shattered window hanging out over it.
A spokesperson for the health and beauty retailer said it was assisting police with inquiries.
A statement said: "We can confirm that an incident took place at our Boots Long Eaton store on Friday.
"We are assisting the police with their investigation."
The store closed temporarily following the incident, but reopened to shoppers on Saturday.
It is not yet known whether anyone was injured in the crash, which happened while the shop was still open.
