Man, 82, dies after vehicle hits him in car park

An 82-year-old man has died after he was hit by a vehicle in a hospital car park.

The man was walking in the car park at Torbay Hospital when he was hit by a car, driven by a 72-year-old woman, at about 14:15 BST on 14 May, said Devon and Cornwall Police.

"Sadly, the male died as a result of his injuries on Tuesday 20 May at Torbay Hospital," said officers.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident.
