A two-year-old boy has died after falling from height in south-east London, the Metropolitan Police force has said.

He was found in Wynell Road in Forest Hill at about 12:00 BST on Sunday, and later died in hospital.

No arrests have been made and police are treating the death as "unexpected" while an investigation continues.

A London Ambulance spokesperson said: "We treated a child at the scene and took them to hospital. Sadly, despite our efforts, they died."
