One person airlifted to hospital after serious Moray crash

One person has been airlifted to hospital following a serious crash in Moray.

The accident happened on the A98 between Buckie and Fochabers shortly before 12:30.

The Scottish Ambulance Service said it dispatched a number of resources to the scene, including three ambulances, a rapid response unit, and an air ambulance. One patient was flown to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.

Police Scotland said the A98 was closed at the junction with the A990, and advised motorists to avoid the area.
