Second person dies after A19 crash

A second woman has died after a crash between a car and a lorry.
The blue Vauxhall Mokka and a white goods vehicle crashed at about 11:30 GMT on 24 March on the A19 northbound, near to the Nissan factory in Sunderland.
The driver of the car, a woman in her 70s, died at the scene.
A woman in her 40s who was travelling with her was taken to hospital and later discharged, but died on Saturday, Northumbria Police said.
