Fire crews were called to a large forest fire.

The Suffolk Fire Service said it was alerted to a blaze at Marks Lane, near the village of Santon Downham, in Thetford Forest, at 14:41 BST on Saturday.

In a statement, it said the area affected had covered several hundred metres and the undergrowth had been "well alight".

Several fire engines had attended, a spokesperson said. The fire was out by about 17:20.
