Mountain Road reopens after signage removal

A section of a major route connecting the Manx capital with the north has reopened after the removal of two-way signage.
The A18 Mountain Road, from Ramsey Hairpin to the Creg Ny Baa was shut from 09:30 to 12:30 BST.
The Department of Infrastructure maintained emergency access throughout the work.
The temporary reminder signage was put in place last week as the route reverted back to two ways following the Isle of Man TT period.
First introduced for the centenary of the TT races in 2007, the one-way system was designed to reduce the risk of head-on collisions on open public roads during the two-week event.
