A 65-year-old man has died after his motorbike crashed into a fence near Stamford Bridge.

Humberside Police said the man was riding a black Aprilia motorcycle northbound on Dolegate Road, Buttercrambe, when he hit a fence near the junction with Lowfield Lane, on Friday at about 10:00 BST.

Emergency services were called, but found the man had died at the scene.

Officers said his next of kin had been told and appealed for witnesses, or anyone with CCTV footage, to get in touch.
