Injured deer causes A38 closure in Plymouth

Part of the A38 in Plymouth had to be shut down after a deer was injured, police have said.
Officers from Devon and Cornwall Police were called to reports of an injured deer on the central reservation of the A38 at Eggbuckland at 11:50 BST.
An armed unit attended the scene to put the animal down humanely.
The road was closed and then reopened just over an hour later.
