Police treat woman's injuries as attempted murder

Four attempted murder arrests have been made after a woman was seriously injured.
Bedfordshire Police said she remained in a critical condition after she was discovered hurt in Luton on Sunday.
Officers have focused their inquiries in Ashburnham Road, Dallow Road and Stuart Street as they try to establish "how the woman sustained her injuries", a spokesman said.
Three men aged in their 40s and 30s, and a woman in her 30s, have been arrested. Police said three were being questioned in custody while one had been released on bail.
Det Insp Jon Wheeler said officers were trying to "piece together what happened" to the injured woman.
"We encourage anyone with information that could assist our investigation to come forward," he added.
