Watch as series of near misses are caught on camera

Near misses with vehicles on the wrong side of the road and a car nearly hitting a bin worker as it mounts the pavement are among the latest examples of dangerous driving released by police.

Other clips from across East Yorkshire, North Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire include a driver heading the wrong way down a dual carriageway to get on to a slip road.

The footage has been released by Humberside Police as part of the ongoing Operation Snap.

Up to the end of last year, more than 4,000 examples of bad driving had been sent to the force, with more than half of them resulting in further action being taken.
