Stop-and-search powers after two men stabbed

Police enforced stop-and-search powers in Wolverhampton after two men were stabbed in the city.
After being called to reports of disorder off Wolverhampton Road in Heath Town, police arrested a 17-year-old boy and a 20-year-old man on suspicion of violent disorder, who remain in custody for questioning.
Two further young men, aged 16 and 17, were also arrested on suspicion of violent disorder. They are receiving hospital treatment and will be questioned in due course.
As a result, West Midlands Police enforced Section 60 stop-and-search powers in the Heath Town area of the city from 19:00 BST on Wednesday until 07:00 on Thursday.
West Midlands Police said they were not currently seeking anyone further in connection with the incident and inquiries to establish the exact circumstances were on-going.
A spokesperson for the force said: "We know incidents like this can be concerning and extra patrols are being carried out in the area by our neighbourhoods teams so please talk to them if you need some reassurance."
