The family of a woman who died in a crash involving a cement lorry has described her as a "beautiful soul" in a tribute.

Laura Akinnurun Sharpe, who was in her 40s, died when the car she was driving collided with the larger vehicle in Brampton, Norfolk, on 24 March.

In their tribute, the mother of three's family said she was "an amazing mother, daughter, wife, sister and friend".

The driver of the lorry, a man in his 40s, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and has been released under investigation, police said.

'Sorely missed'

Ms Akinnurun Sharpe was described as a "beautiful soul, who will be sorely missed by her family and all who knew her".

A woman in her 70s, who was a passenger in the car, was taken to hospital with serious injuries after the collision on Buxton Road, in the village near Aylsham.

The force appealed to anyone who witnessed the incident, or had dashcam footage, to contact them.
