An arrest has been made after a man was stabbed on a cycle path.

Suffolk Police was called to the path near Mead Road in Kesgrave at about 09:25 BST.

The victim, a man in his 20s, suffered injuries that were not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing.

The suspect, who was also in his 20s, fled the scene, but he was later found in Norwich and arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.

Police believe it was an isolated incident and think the victim and the suspect are known to each other.

However, high-visibility patrols will be carried out in the area over the weekend.

Witnesses are being urged to contact police.
