A man has been arrested after a car was involved in two separate collisions in the space of 10 minutes, leaving a teenage girl seriously injured.

The first crash happened at about 20:30 BST on 29 April in Ombersley Way when a blue Peugeot 3008 collided with a white moped.

The second collision happened at about 20:40 on Ombersley Road, when the same car crashed into two girls resulting in a 14-year-old being taken to hospital.

The 44-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and causing grievous bodily harm with intent.

Officers would like to speak to the two people on the moped who left the area before officers arrived.

West Mercia Police would like to hear from anyone who saw either of the collisions and from anyone who may have dashcam footage from around the times they happened.
