Date set for baby murder trial

A woman charged with murdering her baby daughter is due to stand trial in November.
Eliza Ngaba died on 15 August 2022 at the Princess Royal Hospital in Telford at the age of two, after suffering serious injuries in November 2019, when she was seven weeks old.
Sarah Ngaba, 30, of Briarwood, Telford, was charged with murder by West Mercia Police last week.
She has yet to enter a plea, but appeared before Stafford Crown Court on Wednesday and was told her trial had been listed to begin on 24 November.
