Cyclist, 79, dies 10 days after crash

A 79-year-old cyclist has died 10 days after being involved in a car crash.

The man, from Hardwicke in Gloucestershire, was involved in the collision with a Mercedes on an unnamed road close to the junction with Elmore Lane West, Hardwicke, on 4 March.

He was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital with serious head injuries, where he died on Friday.

Gloucestershire Police has asked anyone who may have witnessed anything in the lead up to the collision, or who may have relevant dashcam or CCTV footage, to get in touch.
