Police appeal after man assaulted with a wrench

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was seriously assaulted by people using a wrench inside a car in Plymouth.
Devon and Cornwall Police said the victim was attacked on Beaumont Road about 13:45 GMT on Wednesday.
The man suffered facial and head injuries inside a blue Mini Cooper before he left the car outside the Co-op store, police said.
Two men in their 20s from Saltash, and a woman in her 20s of no fixed abode, have been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
'Released on bail'
Officers said the car was located by police on the A38 in Plymouth later in the afternoon.
They added the woman was further arrested "on suspicion of driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit".
All three have been released on bail pending further inquiries and police believe all parties are known to each other.
The force is appealing for any witnesses or anyone who may have relevant CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage to contact them.
