Road closed after driver seriously hurt in crash

The A38 in Cornwall has been closed for several hours following a serious crash.
Devon and Cornwall Police said the driver had been seriously injured in the incident on the A30 at Glynn, Bodmin and their next of kin would be informed.
National Highways South West said the road was closed in both directions between the A390 at Dobwalls and the A390 at Liskeard after a crash involving a single vehicle at about 05:00 BST on Sunday.
Highways said a diversion route had been set up and advised motorists to allow extra time for their journey.

Police said the road was likely to be closed "for much of the day" while officers examined the scene and asked motorists to avoid the area.
Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service said A38 crews had attended the scene together with police officers and paramedics.
