Car stealing gang who bragged about thefts jailed

Five men responsible for a "staggering amount" of vehicle thefts estimated at more than £800,000 have been jailed.
The Coventry group had "boasted and bragged" about their criminal activity on social media and had even contacted people whose cars they had taken and offered to sell them back to them, police said.
The five were "among the most wanted offenders in the city", West Midlands Police added.
They were previously convicted at Warwick Crown Court of being involved in stealing and selling on vehicles and were given sentences ranging between ten and three years.
Tyrone Henn, 23, of Everdon road, was jailed for 10 years and six months, and Jason O'Farrell, 20, of no fixed address, was jailed for 10 years and five months.
Deacon Cumberbatch, 19, of Riley Square, was jailed for six years and nine months, and Keegan Judge, 18, of Nuneaton, was jailed for four years and nine months.
Kian O'Shea, 19, of Milverton Road, was jailed for three years and nine months.
All five were banned from driving. Keegan Judge can now be named after a banning order was lifted.

Following their convictions in February, Ch Supt Paul Drover said the five were "among the most wanted offenders in Coventry and were responsible for a staggering amount of offences".
He said their thefts, burglaries and car-jackings had a "devastating impact" on victims. The five men were charged with 47 offences.
Videos of crimes were posted on social media, including photos of several stolen vehicles, police said.
In messages, Henn complained about the small about of cash he was getting, after a five-way split from one theft left him with £400.
Coventry policing area commander Drover said the investigation showed "how brazen they all were and their casual attitude towards their offending".
