Man charged with attempted murder after woman injured

Cambridgeshire Police launched an attempted murder investigation after a woman sustained injuries during an incident

A man has been charged with attempted murder after a woman was injured.

Cambridgeshire Police arrested the man, of no fixed address, at Cambridge City Airport yesterday morning.

It followed an incident in Kathleen Elliott Way, which saw a woman in her 40s taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital, where she remains in a stable condition.

The man is due to appear at Cambridge Magistrates' Court today.
