Watch: Cliff collapse caught on camera
A cliff fall on Dorset's Jurassic Coast has been caught on camera by a fossil expert.
Ali Ferris, of Charmouth Heritage Coast Centre, filmed the collapse at Stonebarrow Beach on Friday.
Ms Ferris, who is an interpretation manager at the fossil centre, said she witnessed the cliff fall while walking on the beach.
She said: "It is quite a small slip in terms of the landslips we have here but should still be avoided by members of the public as a few very large blocks did come down."
Cliff falls are common on the Jurassic Coast where coastal erosion reveals prehistoric fossilised remains and attracts fossil hunters.
Charmouth Coast Heritage Centre said the video of the collapse was "a good reminder to stay clear of the cliffs and keep a good distance from them at all times".
In a Facebook post, it said: "Thankfully, this one was from a shallower part of the cliffs but it is a part we often see people going right up to.
"If you are visiting the beach, please take note of the warning signs."
