The family of a man described as the "most lovable person" have paid tribute to him after he died in a crash.

Carwyn Huws, 20, from Bethesda, Gwynedd, died after a crash at about 17:30 BST near Capel Curig, Conwy county, on 10 May.

The collision happened on the A5 and involved a Mr Huws' Honda motorbike and a Volkswagen Caddy van.

His family shared a tribute thanking everyone for their "support and kind words" and described Mr Huws as a "loving son" who would "always be there for everyone".

Emergency services said Mr Huws died at the scene while the female passenger on his motorbike was airlifted to hospital where she remains with serious injuries.

The family's tribute added: "In particular, we would like to thank mountain rescue, paramedics, and the Air Ambulance teams who worked so hard to save him.

"We would also like to say our thoughts are with the pillion passenger and wish her a full recovery."

North Wales Police said its investigation into the crash was ongoing.
