Three arrested after report of people with weapons

Three people have been arrested after police received a report of a group of people with weapons on a residential road in Worcester.

West Mercia Police received the report of the group on Canterbury Road at about 12:30 BST on Monday.

The force said armed officers attended the scene and three people were arrested.

Further inquiries and searches are ongoing in the area in relation to the incident, according to police.
