A trial date has been set for a man accused of murdering another man in Shrewsbury.

The 34-year-old victim was found seriously injured at a house on Lambourn Drive close to midnight on 1 May and he died at the scene a short time afterwards.

Kai Sainz-Stafford, 24, of no fixed address, was later charged with his murder.

The trial is due to be held at Stafford Crown Court on 3 November.

Mr Sainz-Stafford is due to be asked to enter a plea on 2 June.
