Boy, 14, taken to hospital after being hit by tram

A 14-year-old boy has been taken to hospital after being hit by a tram in Nottingham city centre.
Police and the fire service attended the scene in Weekday Cross at 10:15 BST on Thursday following reports.
The injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, Nottinghamshire Police said.
The street has reopened to traffic after it was previously cordoned off.

Alex Humes, assistant manager of The Blind Rabbit in Weekday Cross, said she was sweeping the area in front of the bar when she heard a horn and looked up to see the tram stopped.
She said she helped to direct the ambulance to the scene while another person was giving first aid to the boy.
The city's tram operator, Nottingham Express Transit (NET), says normal service has resumed with delays.
Trevor Stocker, head of operations at NET, said: "We are currently working closely with Nottinghamshire Police for what is now an ongoing investigation, and we thank the emergency services for their swift and prompt response."
