A5 Staffordshire van crash leaves man seriously hurt
GoogleA man has been seriously injured and remains in hospital after two vans collided on the A5 in Staffordshire.
A blue Ford Transit and a silver Mercedes Sprinter crashed near Gailey at about 11:35 BST.
The male driver of one of the vans was taken to the Royal Stoke University Hospital "in a serious condition", said a West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesperson.
The other driver was treated for minor injuries in hospital in Wolverhampton.
Staffordshire Police is appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage.
