How this Scottish park names its famous Highland cows

Pollok Country Park in Glasgow is welcoming its newest bunch of Highland cow calves.

The Highland cattle were first introduced to the park almost 200 years ago, by its previous owners, the Maxwell family.

The new fold of calves are continuing the tradition of being named after their mothers, with some names having been passed down for more than 70 generations.

Thirty-one new calves are expected by the end of the calving season, which runs from March to June.
