Flames and thick smoke billow at 'very large fire'
Video showed flames and thick smoke billowing into the air from a "very large fire" at a building.
Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue Service was called to Peggs Lane in Hertford on Tuesday evening.
A social media post said: "We are dealing with a very large fire in Hertford and smoke can be seen from quite a distance."
Six crews tackled the blaze, which had been extinguished by 20:00 BST, and firefighters remained at the scene to dampen down any hotspots.
