Person seriously injured in two-vehicle crash

A person has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a crash on the A610, police said.

The collision - which involved two vehicles - happened near Eastwood in Nottinghamshire at about 19:00 BST on Friday.

In a post on social media shortly after 20:30, the force said the road was closed southbound.

Officers added an investigation was under way.
