Crews battle wildfire at Huddersfield landmark

Firefighters spent the night at a well-known Huddersfield landmark tackling a "significant" grass fire.
Photos shared on social media showed the blaze, which spread from the foot of Castle Hill on Thursday afternoon, with thick plumes of smoke rising into the sky.
As of 17:00 BST on Friday, West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said six fire engines remained at the scene and road closures were in place.
A spokesperson said crews were "undertaking water relay operations - laying hose to draw water from further afield to support firefighting efforts".
Crews initially mobilised from Holmfirth, Meltham, Huddersfield, Rastrick, Slaithwaite, Dewsbury and Mirfield to the fire.
Additional support included Mirfield's hose layer and support appliance, wildfire units from Slaithwaite and Holmfirth, Skelmanthorpe's welfare unit, and the drone unit.
The spokesperson urged people to avoid the area to allow "crews to work safely".
