Five in hospital after three-vehicle crash

Five people have been taken to hospital, one in an air ambulance, after a three-vehicle crash in Cheshire.
The crash happened at about 14:00 BST on Wednesday on the A51 Chester Road, near Snugbury's ice cream shop in Hurleston, Nantwich.
Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said one person was cut free from one vehicle and treated by air ambulance staff.
A second person got out by themselves after firefighters cut off the door of a vehicle while three others were given first aid by the crews as well as paramedics.
A fire service spokesman said all five were taken to hospital for further treatment.
Crews used mats to mop up a diesel spill and stop it from getting into drains.
Police closed the road between the Bluestone traffic lights and Red Fox at Tarporley, with people urged to avoid the area and use alternative routes.
The North West Air Ambulance said two of its helicopters were sent to the crash.
