Man threatened with hammer in motorbike robbery

Two people have been threatened with weapons during robberies in Nottinghamshire, police have said.
A man was allegedly threatened with a hammer outside The Griffin, Plumtree, in Main Road, Plumtree, at about 12:45 BST on Monday when his motorcycle was taken by three masked people.
A second man reported having his bicycle taken at knifepoint near the Nottingham Knight Island at 14:17.
Officers said they were linking these with the theft of a motorbike and moped in the area and appealed for witnesses.
Police said a motorbike was reported missing from a car park in Radcliffe Road, West Bridgford, on Saturday evening and believe it was then used in the hammer robbery.
Shortly after 14:00 on Monday, a group of three people were reportedly trying to steal a moped on Hound Road, West Bridgford.
The moped was later recovered nearby, police said.
A short time later, officers said they spotted a motorcycle in the area, being ridden by three people, and pursued it as far as The Meadows.
Detectives said they were analysing CCTV footage and carrying out other inquiries.
