'It's a dream to sell out comedy tour in home city'

Chris McCausland has sold out three nights at Liverpool Philharmonic Hall

Comedian Chris McCausland has said it is a "dream come true" to sell out his stand-up tour in his home city but admitted there was an "extra pressure" performing in front of his family and friends.

He is performing at the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall for three nights on his tour Yonks.

It means he has missed out on the Strictly Come Dancing tour which he said did feel like he was "missing out on the party" and his "lap of honour" after winning the BBC competition, "But also I can't believe I'm doing this."

"I want to do everything, that's the problem," he said.
