A second man has been charged with attempted murder after a man was shot in Wolverhampton.

The proceedings related to a gun being fired on Westbourne Road on 18 December, leaving a man in need of hospital treatment for serious injuries, West Midlands Police said.

Ethan Edwards, 21, from Upper Villiers Street in Wolverhampton, who is also charged with having a firearm with intent to commit an offence, appeared before magistrates in the city on Friday. He is due to appear at Wolverhampton Crown Court on 11 April.

It follows identical charges brought against another man, also aged 21.
