Man charged after malicious online communications

A 30-year-old man has been charged after reports of alleged malicious communications posted online, police have said.

Devon and Cornwall Police confirmed Alfie Pilkington of Redlands Close in Exeter, had been arrested on Friday and had been remanded in custody.

The force said the two charges related to reports of alleged malicious communications posted online on 23 April and 24 April.

He was set to appear at Exeter Magistrates' Court on Saturday.
