Suffolk Police wanted to find the owner of the sheep that was found dead in Tunstall Forest

A decapitated sheep was found in a forest, police said.

The animal was found dead by a member of the public in Tunstall Forest, near Woodbridge in Suffolk, on Tuesday.

Officers hoped to find the sheep's owner and described it as white, with black markings on all four legs, and with some pink or red dye on its back.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Suffolk Police.
