Over 45 properties are still without water after an outage which began on December 23.

The supply issues originally affected over 1,000 properties in Strood, Kent.

Southern Water said that 29 domestic and 17 commercial properties are still without water.

The firm has apologised to residents and said they will continue to deliver water to the affected properties, whilst they work to locate and fix a leak.

The water company said they have redirected some supplies to connect homes since the outages began.

Regular updates were available on its website, it added.
