Pedestrian killed in Christmas Day road collision

A pedestrian died after they were struck by a car on Christmas Day.

The incident happened on the northbound A6 near Rushden at about 19:25 GMT and involved a grey Land Rover.

Northamptonshire Police said the pedestrian, a 30-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The force has appealed for witnesses and dashcam footage.
