Man, 41, arrested after teens threatened with knife

The incident happened early on Saturday morning in a residential area

A man has been arrested after two teenagers were threatened with a knife, one of whom was cut on the shoulder.

Avon and Somerset Police received a report at around 05:00 BST on Saturday that a man had approached the teenagers in Culverhill, Frome, and was acting aggressively.

While no initial injury was reported, one of the teenagers was later taken to hospital for the shoulder cut.

A 41-year-old man has been arrested and remains in police custody.

The teenager's injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.

Avon and Somerset Police said officers conducted enquiries in the area following the incident.
