Twin lost control of bike in Thailand - inquest

A man who died in Thailand lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into the kerb, an inquest has heard.

Corey Beavis, 28, who was originally from Barry, died on 4 January, 2025.

The inquest at Pontypridd Coroner's Court was told that Mr Beavis was riding in Phuket and died at the scene.

Mr Beavis's death was reported to the British Embassy in Thailand and his body repatriated.

A post-mortem examination was not carried out in Thailand, but preliminary reports suggested he died from skull fracture caused by a road traffic collision.

The inquest was adjourned to a date yet to be fixed.
