Man dies as police investigate reports of assault

Police have appealed for witnesses after the death of a man in Stoke-on-Trent.
Officers were called to reports of an assault at a property on Lymebrook Place at 16:05 GMT.
They found two casualties inside. Staffordshire Police said one of the men, in his 30s, was pronounced dead shortly afterwards.
A second man, in his 40s, has been taken to hospital with less serious injuries.
The force said detectives were working to establish the circumstances leading up to the man's death and called on anyone with information to come forward.
It added the team was working to identify and inform the victim's next of kin and urged people not to speculate online.
Staffordshire Police said there would be more officers in the area to provide reassurance and to help gather information.
