A man and teenage boy have been arrested on suspicion of kidnap after a girl went missing.
Police were called following reports of a girl leaving in an unknown vehicle on Edleston Road in Crewe, Cheshire, at about 14:30 GMT on Tuesday.
Officers notified neighbouring forces and the vehicle was found in Derbyshire, Cheshire Police said.
The girl was reported to have been found safe and well inside it, a force spokesperson added.
A 14-year-old boy, who was known to the girl, and the vehicle's driver, a 31-year-old man, were arrested on suspicion of kidnap.
They both remain in custody while police inquiries continue.
