Teen accused of attempted murder of e-bike rider
A 17-year-old has been charged with the attempted murder of an e-bike rider.
The rider, a man in his 20s, was on the southbound carriageway of the A41 North Western Avenue in Watford on 25 July when he was wounded in a shooting.
The incident was said to have happened at about 17:20 BST and is thought to have involved the occupants of a black BMW.
The teenager, from Watford, is the seventh person to be charged in connection with the case. He appeared at Hatfield Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, Hertfordshire Police said.
The force said he was arrested on Tuesday, and was remanded in custody at the magistrates' hearing.
Det Insp Mark Butler, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit, said it was a "complex investigation".
The 17-year-old is due to go on trial at Reading Crown Court on 19 May.
