City's Pride event returns with first act revealed
Wolverhampton Pride has announced its first act, as it confirms the event will return in 2025.
Market Square will host celebrated drag act QUEENZ, who will entertain revellers with "live vocals and dazzling camp couture", say organisers.
The popular festival, which last year saw thousands of people attend, will be held in the city on 7 June.
Organisers said said the event was "an inclusive and accessible place for the queer community and its allies to celebrate, learn about, and support LGBTQ+ inclusion within the city of Wolverhampton".
Further announcements about the line up and activities on offer will be made in the coming weeks, they added.
Wolverhampton Grand Theatre is the event's main sponsor this year.
